The Claudia Bella Chapter - February to November 2007 2/27/07 Just when you think it's over... Just when you think it's hopeless... along comes a SHOCKING discovery!  Is
this insanely
beautiful Brazilian woman our Bianca/Daniela? After intense study over
the past several days, I am more than 90 PERCENT
convinced that it is. This image has been sitting in my own house for
at least six weeks. But it was not until this past weekend that I began
to take it seriously, and my life has not been the same since. This is the most AMAZING, most
MIRACULOUS, most promising development in the 2 1/2 year history of
this search!
3/1/07 Every
pixel of this photograph, every nuance of her body, her hands and
her face, conforms with everything I remember about her. I cannot
conceive how this could possibly be anyone other than our
Bianca/Daniela. As beautiful as she was at the club, nothing compares
to this. I am transfixed by her image and I love her beyond words.
3/10/07 The
geographic focus has moved to two facilities in Van Nuys,
California: Leisure Time Entertainment's production facility and the
office of the producer and the Custodian of Records at Interactive
Global Media. Direct Video and DVD of Gary, Indiana and these
two
Van Nuys operations are all owned by LTE, and I have been a customer
for many years. The most critical is the
Custodian of Records office. Although I have an
address, phone numbers are nearly impossible to come by. Even if the
footage was simply imported from Rio de Janeiro and only compiled here,
Chapter 18 of the US criminal code requires proof that all performers
meet minimum age requirements for US distribution. Those records are
kept at one of these Van Nuys facilities. I am 100
percent sure this Custodian of Records office has a photocopy
of
Daniela's
Brazilian driver's license and photo ID on file. Undoubtedly, there is
an
address on that photo ID that is probably current.
The phone number of LTE's production facility, however, was easy to obtain. So that is the number with which I will start on Monday. On Sunday I will compose my phone cue sheet. My greatest concern (and fervent prayer) is finding sympathetic ears along the way. The porn industry has more than its share of tough, jaded people, especially when they are busy. 3/11/07
Every day the real significance of what I discovered two weeks ago
settles more into my consciousness. What are the odds that Daniela -
while basically having her life confined to Rio de Janeiro - would
appear in an adult video distributed exclusively in the U.S.
by
the only adult video company for which I have been a
consistent
customer for over 12 years and has kept me on their mailing
list over
that
entire time? Furthermore, she was chosen over 34 other female
performers to be the cover model. STILL it took me six weeks to realize
who was actually staring me in the face every time I looked at one of
the catalog ads.
What odds are we talking about here? Probably the same as a particular
snowflake hitting your house during a blizzard? Each day I marvel at it
more and more, and I can barely get my mind around it. I'm slowly
accepting the fact that everything I do from here on is only made
possible by a miracle, no matter what statistical or divine yardstick
you use.

4/3/07 A
five page
introductory letter (along with a list of signed affirmations to put
them at ease) has finally been sent via certified mail to IGM's
Custodian of Records office in Van Nuys, California. I am planning an
in person follow up and hope make the brief trip to the LA area during
the week of April 9th (week of April 16th at the latest). I am
confident a forwarding agreement can be reached. At the suggestion of a
friend, I am assembling a notebook binder full of newletters and essays
from this web site that trace nearly the entire history of the search,
along with the immigration plan from August/September 2004, and a front
cover dedication to her. It will be sent to the address on Daniela's
photo ID.
4/17/07
The results
of my SoCal Trip: It's ALL in Rio! Interactive
Global Media/ Direct Video & DVD is merely a third
tier distributor, under a six month contract with a video
exporter, who provided the footage they have named the "Latina
Special."
The exporter obtained the footage from a local primary producer, most
likely in the Rio area itself. IGM fits the legal definition of a
"secondary producer." A 2005 law requiring secondary producers to keep
records is under heavy attack from the adult video industry and most
are not complying.
4/22/07 It's
a Brazilian "Termas"! After nearly two all night research
sessions concerning the Rio adult entertainment/sex
scene, it seems very apparent that the entirety of Disc 3 of the Latina
Special - the one featuring Daniela's scenes - is not much more than a
portrayal of life inside a Brazilian termas club. It is very likely
that Daniela has been working at one of these clubs, and I currently
have the addresses for 19 of them in the Rio area. Also, the Help
Disco, the largest of the "pick up" clubs on the Copacabana strip, has
a web site in two languages with a popular blog entitled, "Looking
for someone special?" The web site averages two million hits per month!
4/30/07 After
a second more extensive listing, featuring captures from the video, a
sympathetic management at Discoteca Help offers their assistance to the
search. Although not completely sure due to the number of women over a
long period of years, they believe they have seen Daniela around the
Copacabana club scene during 2005 and 2006. They are also quite
optimistic that if she is in Rio and around the scene, she can be found.

Today has
been the most difficult day since the great discovery in
February. Sad news has come in the form of new information from Help
management about penalties the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has
been imposing
on visitors who overstay their visas, and their policy of tracking
everyone leaving the country via air transportation. These policies and
procedures were in effect in 2004. Any visitor who overstays a visa is
banned from reentering the United States for a period of five to ten
years, depending upon the length of the overstay. During that period,
any application for a new visa will be denied.
This information has evaded me for almost three years. It renders the Immigration Plan I composed in 2004 (based upon the "mail order bride" model) as useless. The Discoteca Help webmaster says I could have married Daniela on the spot in the U.S., which would have made her eligible for a green card. The ease with which nearly anyone can get married - in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or nearly anywhere else - is shocking. Personally, I think in the 21st Century, it should be more difficult to get a marraige license than a driver's license. Easy marraige is a relic from the days of sexual repression where it was used to provide a quick cover for "the sin of fornication." Marraige should be about a commitment to a deep, abiding love for someone that cuts to a person's emotional core. Using it as a legal cover for sexual activity in a sexually repressed culture cheapens its sacredness in the worst sort of way! Given the length of her overstay, it is unlikely that Daniela could ever legally enter the U.S. again until 2014. I feel right now there is a 50-50 chance that she was aware of this when she left. If she was, her method of departure finally starts to make sense. Once her decision was made, I was no longer in any position to help her. The way her life is currently, I felt that if I found her, and she was available, and she would have me, I would most likely be moving down there. But this information is still a tremendous blow because it renders me impotent to expand her life's options with a US visa. Unless I could present a convincing case for a pardon, I could never, in a reasonable period, bring her to the States and finally introduce her to all my friends who have followed this saga from the beginning. I spent most of the day hiding my tears, followed by anger at a deceased former boss who caused my financial hardships in 2003 and early 2004. Those hardships prevented me from attending the club and meeting Daniela until a mere seven weeks before her departure. Had I had just one or two more weeks, there would have been no mistaking what my inner voice was telling me. But I continue to press on, believing that love will somehow be adequate in and of itself. 5/15/07
On this third
anniversary of the night I met Daniela (I first noticed her shortly
before 9 PM as I recall), an all important mailing project begins to
staff managers at approximately 64 adult nightclubs, termas clubs,
meeting
places, and adult video producers in the Rio de Janeiro metro area. The
mailing contains more than 10 pages and over two dozen images to help
recepients identify Daniela, other performers, and the sets in the
video. It is entirely in Portuguese with the body of the letter being a
professional human translation (which didn't come cheap). I have an
irresistibly positive premonition about this project and coworkers at
my jobs are reflecting the mood. "Viva Daniela!" is now a
chant at one of my workplaces.

The
dancer and adult video star was apparently maintaining three separate
identities in 2004. Her
seven year career has spanned even her life in Massachusetts,
dancing at The Other Side, and training at Galaxy Insurance. Claudia
Bella CANNOT POSSIBLY be anyone else.

6/29/07 I am currently in the process of composing a letter and mailing to the management and staff of Nectar Entertainment which will be sent by certified mail. As an afterthought to this important breakthrough, one of the best Internet databases for information on adult video performers is Excalibur Movies' "Porn Star Mall." It lists thousands of them, past and present. Shortly after the discovery, I went to the Claudia Bella page and realized I had been there before. For much of the past eight years, I have subscribed to Excalibur Movies' daily "jokegram" email. In each email is a photo of three starlets with links to each of their pages in the Porn Star Mall. The same photo for Claudia has been there for at least two or three years. The photo has an extreme "airbrush" quality, her facial expression is almost lethargic (the opposite of Bianca's nature), there are no tan lines, and her hair is wavy instead of straight and halfway between the length she had at the club and the length she has today. She also looks like a woman who is considerably taller than Bianca. In short, she is completely unrecognizable to anyone who knew Claudia live and up close during 2004. There is also (not surprisingly) no bio information. I have been to this page and seen this photo as many as two times in the past two years. Had the photo revealed even a minor resemblance to Bianca at the various moments of her in my memory, or even projected just one aspect of her personality - even if it had only half the impact that the model in the Direct Video ad had upon me (see photo and link below) - I might have been motivated to do some research and this mission could have ended a lot sooner. For three years of my life, my number one goal had been to find you and restore our friendship. I spent $7,000 and went through more than you can imagine. I've lost so much. It's hard. I love you. 7/26/07 There was some minor good news today in the form of a discovery on Orkut. For the past month, all the Brazilian porn star profiles have been in the process of converting to fan club communities. So it is unlikely that Claudia had anything to do with the removal of her Orkut profile, and she wasn't the one who actually put it up in the first place. However, I remain firmly convinced (unfortunately) that the removal of her escort listing on Contatos and the disconnect of the prepaid cell phone number associated with it was done specifically to prevent me from ever successfully contacting her. Now that my
email communication with Claudia Bella has run its course,
a report on all the odd developments and information that emerged
during our exchange is overdue. Our email thread began on November 20th
and ended on November 28th.
By the middle of last month, it was clear that Claudia's email account was genuine and active and that it was the easiest way for me to reach her. So I sent her my message. I reminded her of who I was and said that new information had emerged proving that she cannot possibly be Bianca, in spite of her identical appearance and personality.
