"My Experience of Bianca" - The Story
This was the first complete essay I wrote after her sudden disappearance from the club in early July 2004. Originally written in mid July and late August of that year, it was an attempt to summarize and conveniently explain to friends and counselors what I had recently experienced. In early July of 2006, I did a thorough rewrite and added considerable detail to mark the second anniversary of her disappearance. All the foundational details of this heartbreaking story are here, including my search for Bianca/Daniela at the insurance agencies of Brighton in July 2004.

The Search for Bianca: A Primer

This is the place for all the basic information about the search. It includes a very thorough description of Bianca/Daniela and the circumstances of her life in July 2004. Also included are photos of important geographical landmarks. The information in this primer clearly identifies who she is, so anyone reading it can quickly determine whether or not they know (or knew) her.

Email Thread with Robin Monaco

Robin is the graphics designer for my Folk Image and Troubadour 1700 music and radio websites and the creator of the December 2004 image of Bianca on the home page of this site. In late August and early September 2004, I had the chance to tell her what had happened to me by sending her the first draft of the "My Experience of Bianca" essay. For several days we carried on an email exchange where I revealed additional aspects about Bianca and her life.

The "Claudia Bella Chapter" of the Search - February to November 2007
An amazing "story within a story." For the better part of nine months, I was convinced that Rio de Janeiro adult video performer Claudia Bella was Bianca. On this page you can follow this development from the discovery of one of Claudia's images to the discrepancy that proved she is a different woman. You will also find high quality photos of someone who, in every way, is Bianca's double.

A "Daniella" of significance is located with a Lowell, Massachusetts address
From early May 2005, it was an important information breakthrough at the time and one that remains shrouded in mystery. We learned how fickle the information harvested by databanks can be and how quickly it can disappear. This information seemed far too coincidental to simply dismiss.

"She returned to Brazil"
A powerful and passionate essay I wrote on December 19, 2004 when a consensus came over us in the belief that Bianca had moved back home. She was missing her family quite intensely during the early summer of 2004 and was under some pressure from them to return. But we abandon that belief in June 2005 on the hunch of a private detective after he confirmed my research indicating that Galaxy Insurance was the agency where she had worked. However, after my own visit to Galaxy Insurance in November 2005, I returned to it. A majority of friends and followers of the search have also felt that she did move back home.

Pictures of the ads in local Brazilian media and on the web
Includes the very first downtown Framingham poster, a front cover and some ads in Tá Na Mão, the Brazilian Times, and banners on MassachusettsBrazil.com. The first advertising effort occurred in November 2004, a second effort began in late summer 2005, and a third commenced in March 2006.

Quotes that Inspire
From other ladies who danced at the club, to "spiritual advisors," to other Massachusetts men with Brazilian girlfriends, these quotes proved to be landmarks that inspired me along this journey.

Newsletters and Breaking News

The "Breaking News" Archive
In December of 2004 a number of elements, including the assistance of two private investigators and the discovery of an informed ally, produced a period when there was a development in the search every few days. The "Breaking News" clips were a way of keeping those visiting the website up to date with those developments. This archive traces activities in the search from December 2004 to late May 2005.

The Newsletter Archive
Toward the end of May 2005, problems with "flaming" bloggers and other considerations forced me to abandon the Breaking News feature and replace it with a private email newsletter. You had to be an email subscriber to receive the updates. The above link will take you to a root directory were the title of each newsletter I have made public is listed. The earliest ones (June 2005) trace the discovery of Galaxy Insurance as the agency where Bianca/Daniela worked.

Summary of Activities - May 2006 to February 2007
Due to increased work hours at my jobs, I put aside the involved task of creating the email newsletters and put most of the available time I had into a postal mailing campaign to MetroWest businesses. I did, however, manage to post my activities during those months on the home page of the web site. Here is a summary of those postings.

My Complete Immigration Proposal to Bianca
In late August and September 2004 I pieced together all my immigration research into this 11 page report, not knowing if I would ever have the opportunity to give it to her. Pages 2-4 is a reflection on what happened between us in early July 2004 from my perspective. Pages 4-7 contain the actual procedure of the plan.* Pages 8-12 outline to Bianca just how stimulating and rewarding a lifetime partnership with me would be, and the vast improvement that would result in both of our lives on all levels.

*Unfortunately, in 2004 I was unaware that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security had been tracing everyone leaving the country via air transportation for quite some time and integrating the data with visa applications. If she did return to Brazil, Bianca would unlikely be approved for another U.S. visa until 2014 without special intervention or amnesty. The solution appears to have been to simply marry her on the spot. Visa documents are not required for marraige and it makes the foreign spouse eligible for a green card.
